Sirf - Life looks greener on the other side (whew, talk about long movie names :D) is a film about four couples who each have something and missing another, such as money, love, trust, time, etc. It's about how they come together and hopefully solve their problem. Sirf is the return of Manisha Koirala who is paired with Kay Kay Menon. Other actors/actresses in major roles are Ranvir Shorey, Sonali Kulkarni, Parveen Dabaas, Rituparna Sengupta, Ankur Khanna, Nauheed Cyrusi. The film is directed by Rajaatsh Nayar and its music is by Sohail Sen and Shibani Kashyap. According to my taste, there's only one song in this album that's worth listening to, and that is Zindagi Ki Kahani. But that's just me. Bhram is a film by Pavan S. Kaul and stars Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Simone Singh and Sheetal Menon. The movie's had mostly below average reviews. I don't know much about it though.Anyway, music of Bhram is directed by Pritam and Siddharth Suhas. Listening to these songs literally gave me a headache. I don't know if the songs were completely at fault, as I had just returned from a very busy day when I decided to see how they were. The bottom line is that I didn't enjoy them the smallest bit. I've heard that sales wise Bhram's music did really great, which really proves that it wasn't the songs. I was me. I hope you are in a much better state when you are listening to them so you would know how they ACTUALLY are. Harry Baweja's latest film is Love Story 2050 and, as the name suggests, is a sci-fi and set in the future, in 2050 to be more specific. The protagonists, Karan (Harman Baweja) and Sana (Priyanka Chopra) travel to the future using a time machine built by Dr. Yatinder Khanna (Boman Irani). It's full of special effects. Even though it has been criticized for being amateurish and waste of the huge Rs. 500 million, I give credit to Harry for trying something different. Bollywood seriously needs to make something besides the lame and mindless comedies. Not that they aren't producing any good films, however there's been only a few every year. So kudos to Harry for trying something different. Mehbooba is the latest film by director/producer Afzal Khan starring Ajay Devgan, Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Dutt about the love triangle between the main characters. I've heard it is very 90s-like in terms of story and setting. Now I know the music is also in that category which doesn't sit quite well with me. Ismail Darbar has composed some great music in the past (e.g ) but this time around he hasn't done quite as good. Mission Istanbul is a film by Apoorva Lakhia and stars Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Shriya Saran, Sunil Shetty, Shweta Bhardwaj and Abhishek Bachchan. Zayed Khan plays an up and coming journalist who is doing very well is offered a job at Al Johara, a news network based in Istanbul, Turkey. Al Johara is quite comparable to Al Jazeera who also air messages from terrorists quite regularly. Mission Istanbul is an action/adventure kinda film which tackles many of the current international issues, mainly terrorism. It was released last week on the 25th. Please do let me know if you like/dislike it.Music of MI is composed by Shamir Tandon, Anu Malik, Mika Singh and Chirantan Bhatt. Doesn't seem like the collaboration between the four has resulted in anything above average. I was hoping something like the best of the four composers, but I'm disappointed. I guess I was expecting too much. These songs aren't that bad altogether, but they are at the same time not so good either. Anyways...

De Taali is E. Niwas'latest film starring Aftab Shivdasani, Ritesh Deshmukh, Ayesha Takia and Rimi Sen. De Taali is about three childhood friends who have grown together and are very close to each other, until Anjali (Rimi Sen) enters their lives and changes everything. There isn't much known about what the film is about as it is still in production, at least I couldn't find any. However, what is really well known is that its music is composed by AR Rehman. And my hats off to Mr. Rehman for constantly creating such amazing music. He is a true genius, no doubt about it. I love this album. I think everyone will, maybe not the lyrics so much but the score is absolutely beautiful. Akshay Kumar plays Happy Singh whose village is fed up of him for causing disastrous situations.
